Eco Rest - Exploring Natural Death Matters is a community forum based in the Blue Mountains NSW. 
Set up in November 2024 by returning Blue Mountains resident Jude Warren. Originally from the UK, and someone who loves travelling.

Jude has a background of community palliative care nursing. She also has a love and respect for nature and understands the vital importance to be a part of the solution for climate change. She is passionate about promoting and encouraging change so that sustainable death care options are available here in Australia.

Eco Rest hold community events encouraging connections and conscious conversations on what is happening here in Australia about natural death matters, such as natural organic reduction (NOR) otherwise known as terramation or human composting. Eco Rest is also a great supporter of conserved land natural burial sites. 

Eco Rest is focusing on advocating for terramation to become legalised here in Australia. By sharing updates, information, experiences and insights people are becoming more and more interested in having an affordable and sustainable death care option. 

There is a regular newsletter, email list and private Facebook group that members can join to share information and insights.
