About
Companioning the dying, family and friends at end of life. Supporting the bereaved through their grieving.
I provide counselling to clients experiencing loss and grief resulting from changes in life circumstances including illness, dying, death and bereavement. I understand the complexity of changes in physical and mental health, family and work roles, relationships and home environment. I help people who have become less organised than they would like to be resulting from loss and grief. I do this through home-visits, face to face, walk and talk in nature, online and phone.
I'm a counsellor with a degree in psychology and post-graduate qualifications in counselling and psychotherapy. I hold specialist qualifications in bereavement counselling and I'm a Certified Bereavement Practitioner recognised by the Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement and Certified Thanatologist-Study of dying, death and bereavement via the Association of Death Education and Counselling. I have qualifications in grief, life and health and wellness coaching.
In addition to NDAN, I am a registered clinical counsellor and mental health practitioner with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia and hold memberships with the Loss and Grief Practitioner's Network and the Association for Death Education and Counselling.
I am currently undertaking the final of four year Advanced Clinical Training in Relational Gestalt Psychotherapy (Gestalt Therapy Australia).
